Wishing Tree Guide

As many many people are having issues with the wording in the wishing tree i thougt i would go icon by icon and explain what is needed.

First of all you should note the icons that say "throw 200 coins into the wishing pool", "purchase 30 diamond contracts" and others along those lines can ONLY be achieved once you are on that level (you have highlighted the level below).

Note: If you have completed any of the Icons and they did not automatically highlight try clicking the icon to highlight manually, if that doesnt work please wait a few hours are there may be a little lag, if after say 6hours its still not highlighted contact CS on the bugs/suggestion forum. There is a KNOWN bug with two icons, store expert venture where some people have needed to do it 4 times to highlight and also owning 3 bells labs vehicles also needs 4 sometimes.

The guide will explain each level, icon by icon starting left to right...

LEVEL 1 -

Icon 1 (Source of transportation, owning 1 common bike)
The Common Bike costs 200TCN and is available in the shop under "vehicles". You only need one, once you have purchased a common bike from the shop, click the icon in wishing tree and click "accept", this will Bind the bike and highlight the icon.

Icon 2 (Great Ambition, owning the title Entrepreneur)
For this firstly make sure the "Investors Wishes Series Quests" are complete, secondly go to Charactor - Titles - and click "use" on Entrepreneur Title. The icon will highlight once you have done this.

Icon 3 (Power Convergence, Guild president or a member of a level 3 guild or above)
This one explains itself pretty well, if you are on a new server this may take a little while to achieve on your own so try applying to a guild already at level 3 or above, even if they only let you in to highlight then remove you, many guilds will do this as most BTO players are nice. Once you are a member or President of a level 3 guild or above you will see the icon Highlight automatically.

Icon 4 (Struggle off the Bottom, Of Citizen or above Social Class)
To achieve this you MUST have at least 300 EXP, to check your EXP go to Charactor page, its the pink bar. If your EXP is not 300 or above then you need to complete some daily/serial Quests to gain more, or sometimes events like Lotto, Deep Sea Treasure Hunt also give EXP for prizes. When you have the required 300 EXP you will see the icon Highlight automatically.

Icon 5 (Industry Rookie, Having produced 10 goods)
This icon can be highlighted very fast if you cancel current production and set 10 goods of the lowest quality/grade in production, even with small/new factorys this should not take more than a few hours. Any grade, any industry it does not matter, 10 Cases of goods are all you need. This icon will highlight automatically once the 10 goods have been produced. Please note previous goods produced before the Wishing Tree opened AND godds which were in the production que WILL NOT COUNT. Its only goods which are set in production AFTER the Wishing Tree was opened that count.

Icon 6 (Act of Mercy, Donating 100,000 TCN or more to charity)
To highlight simply go to Charactor - Charity, and have a total of 100,000TCN or more donated, previous Donations DO COUNT, so if you only a small corporation i suggest you donate 1,000 TCN and see what your overall donation total is, then just donate the extra amount needed to reach 100,000 TCN total. The icon will highlight after the target is achieved automatically.

Icon 7 (Green Thumb, Having 2 or more Green employees)
This isnt specific as to where/how you get the employees, if you have 2 gold or diamond contracts use them and you should get the employees needed. You can also try poaching from other players friends OR foe. One other option is further training White employees With TCN or With gratis gold/gold. I am unsure if it is Green or above employees that count, its not very specific, i can only assume employees higher than Green DO COUNT. This icon may or may not highlight by itself, if it doesnt please click the icon.

AFTER you have all 7 icons lit click the "highlight" button next to the level 1 and it will allow you to recieve the REWARDS (50,000 TCN,1 Store Upgrade Coupon). Then you can get to work on level 2.

LEVEL 2 -

Icon 1 (Taking Shape, Having 14 employees in total)
To highlight you need to have 14 employees of white to orange colour, you can recruit these from Buisness - Recruitment without contracts if you havent already got the 14 employees. This should highlight automatically once the 14 employees are recognised/hired.

Icon 2 (Moment of Fantasy, Finishing 3 Tasks in 16-hour Activity)
Since Wishing Tree was unlocked/opened if you have done any 16-hour Activites they WILL count, it does not all have to be on 1 day, the activities are between 08.00.00 and 23.59.59 Daily. To find them go to City - 16 hour activity. Once you have completed 3 you will see the icon highlighted.

Icon 3 (First Bucket of Gold, Owning 200,000 TCN)
Simply have a total Wealth of 200,000 TCN OR more, If you do not have this yet a friend count take you on a Tour or buy some goods/materials/scrolls from you in Trade center. This is harder for the 1 day old servers but is easily achievable by everybody within a week of making your account, Will highlight once achieved automatically.

Icon 4 (Bold Challenger, Initiating 10 challenges in Elite Battle)
For this you need to create a team in Arena, then click the Challenge button 10 times, you can challenge each person a maximum of 4 times in 24hours, so you will need to pick at least 3 different people, it does not matter if you Win OR Lose, its taking part that counts ;). This will highlight once you have selected "challenge" in arena 10 times.

Icon 5 (Wise Judgement, Execute MASS Recruitment ONCE using either gold contract or diamond contract)
If you have 10 Gold contracts OR 10 Diamond Contracts with 10 recruitment chances or more remaining go to Buisness - Recruitment - Mass Recruitment and select one of the 2 buttons to use the correct Contracts. It does not matter if you decide to hire any of the employees found or not, as long as the 10 contracts are used together the icon Will highlight.

Icon 6 (Store Expert Venture, Participating in Store Expert Venture in City - Funfair 3 times)
If you are not a Gold buyer you can do this over 3 days with the 1 per day free try, if you are a gold buyer you can pay 200 gold for the second and third try. If you opt to do the free try each day theres a chance you will have a little lag on the icon highlighting, however if you choose to spend gold theres a good chance the icon will highlight immediately. Store Expert Venture is found in City - Funfair - Store Expert Venture.

AFTER you have all 6 icons lit click the "highlight" button next to the level 2 and it will allow you to recieve the REWARDS (100,000 TCN, 2 Store Upgrade Coupons, 3 Superfish Soups (10 points)). Then you can get to work on level 3.

LEVEL 3 -

Icon 1 (Multimillionaire, The title Multimillionaire useable)
This means you need 1,000,000 TCN or more only, you do not need to use the title. If you do not have this yet a friend count take you on a Tour or buy some goods/materials/scrolls from you in Trade center. This is harder for the new servers but is achievable with a little help from friends using the trade system to interchange TCN, Will highlight once achieved automatically.

Icon 2 (Buisness Tripping, Travel ONCE)
This is refering to City - Tourism zone not Buisness Trip from employee routine. Now thats cleared up you should know there are 2 ways to achieve this, you can Either Travel alone to a destination or travel with a friend, no matter who initiates the travel. The icon will only highlight AFTER the tourism trip has ENDED.

Icon 3 (Backbone of the Company, Having 3 purple or above employees)
To achieve this there are several ways, further training with TCN, LEC's (from tour's, MIB negotiations, 16 hour activities, prizes from gold ranking events (such as lotto, wishing pool, deep sea treasure hunt), new mayors presents (until monday 30th august), exchanging Negotiation expert certificates, poaching is also one option. Any purple, red or orange employees will count towards this, talent level doesnt matter. Once you have 3 or more purple OR above this icon will highlight automatically.

Icon 4 (The Duke, Owning 1 Grand Torino)
A Grand Torino costs 300,000 TCN and is available in the shop under "vehicles". You only need one, once you have purchased a Grand Torino from the shop, click the icon in wishing tree and click "accept", this will Bind the Grand Torino and highlight the icon.

Icon 5 (Science Enthusiast, Donating 10 Diamond flasks)
You do not need to donate all 10 at once, but previous donations since before the Wishing Tree was open do not count either. There are several ways to get diamond flasks for free, you can exchange 50 Elite Coupons from arena for 20 Diamond flasks, you can also win Diamond flasks from NPC weekly, Forum events or in the Wishing pool. Diamond flasks presented to you by others DO count, however if you cannot get the diamond flasks for FREE they are available to be purchased in the shop for 40 gold each, gratis gold will not work. Once you have Donated 10 diamond flasks to help bell from City - Help bell, you will see the icon highlight automatically.

AFTER you have all 5 icons lit click the "highlight" button next to the level 3 and it will allow you to recieve the REWARDS ( 1 Loyal Employee Card (Purple),5 Store Upgrade Coupons,2 Superfish Soups (50 points)). Then you can get to work on level 4.

LEVEL 4 -

Icon 1 (Pillar of the Company, Having 10 Red or above employees)
Red employees can be gained from Luck fragments/ Destiny cards, LEC's from tour's, MIB negotiations, 16 hour activities, prizes from gold ranking events (such as lotto, wishing pool, deep sea treasure hunt), new mayors presents (until monday 30th august), exchanging Negotiation expert certificates, poaching is also one option OR further training via TCN OR Gold. You must own 10 Red OR ORange employees in total to highlight this.

Icon 2 (Recruit Great Minds, Purchasing 30 Diamond Contracts in shop)
Only when you have highlighted level 3 will this count. This is the ONLY way to highlight the icon.... Go to Shop - select Diamond contracts, for amount select 30 or above, make sure you have 900+ Gold, then click Buy. Getting Diamond contracts from veents, Elite coupons, Friends, NPC weekly and monthly ranks, Company upgrades, Previously purchased contracts WILL NOT COUNT. Note: if you have discount coupons Tuesdays give a Discount on diamond contracts and will save you some money.

Icon 3 (Decent Dress, Binding 6 level 9 attire items)
Previously upgraded Attire WILL COUNT, just remove it from employees then re-attatch, remember to click save after each. If you do not have 6 level 9 attire please buy or exchange elite coupons for 6 pieces of CEO kits (old World cup kits also work) go to City - Bells labs - Attire upgrade, using a mixture of 3 crude gems per attire, 3+ precious gems, 3+ exquisit gems you must make them to level 9 attire, IMPORTANT- you will have Fails, and quite a lot of gems will be lost and rendered worthless to get your level 9 kits, so unless you have a LOT of gems i dont suggest doing this. After you have 6 level 9 attire bind them to a employee, click save and the icon will highlight.

Icon 4 (Wealth Symbolisation, owning 1 bronze wealth medal)
Combine two wealth medals or any other 10% medal in Bell's Labs (City - Bell's Labs) to create a bronze wealth medal, you do not need to select use, the icon should highlight itself, however if it does not go to the Wishing Tree, click the icon and see if that fixes it, if not contact CS threw Bugs/ Suggestions.

Icon 5 (Industrial Revolution, Factory Device upgraded to level C)
"Level C" is a Typo or just unexplained, it is refering to Creating Goods of Level C, which requires Device X, for more information on factory and how to achieve this go here: http://btobbs.dovogame.com/thread-1318-1-1.html . If you can create goods of Quality C or above this icon should highlight automatically.

AFTER you have all 5 icons lit click the "highlight" button next to the level 4 and it will allow you to recieve the REWARDS ( 1 Bugatti Veyron 16.4,1 Loyal Employee Card (Red),8 Store Upgrade Coupons). You can also Recieve a BONUS of 1000 Gold (not gratis gold). Then you can get to work on level 5. Note if you choose to stay on level 4 for every player that reaches the same level AFTER you, you can recieve 1 Dividend of 50 gold.

LEVEL 5 -

Icon 1 (Rookie Negotiator, Owning 10 Expert Negotiator Certificates)
You can Gain these Certificates by doing NPC Landmark Negotiation please go here for a detailed description: http://btobbs.dovogame.com/thread-1007-1-1.html . After you own 10 of more Negotiation Expert Certificates the icon will highlight Automatically, previously owned certificates WILL COUNT.

Icon 2 (Tower of Strength, Having 30 talented employees of level Expert or above)
This means OWNING 30 employees with Expert OR Master talent, reguardless of their colour (white, green, blue, purple, red, orange), there are several ways to gain these talents - using gold to enlighten a employee the talent levels = no talent - junior - intermediate - expert - master. Another way to gain these employees are by poaching from other players, from Buisness - Recruitment, or if your very lucky from LEC's or luck fragments/Destiny cards in City - Funfair. Once you have 30 or above Experts/Masters the icon will highlight.

Icon 3 (Amateur Collector, Successfully Combineing 3 vehicles in Bells Labs)
For this you need either 3+ Vehicles and combination Scrolls OR 3 Vehicles of a value of 9,999 Or over that give 100% combination rate. Previously combined Vehicles WILL NOT count. Go to City - Bell's Labs - Vehicle combination and combine between 1-3 vehicles per time, personally i suggest you combine 1 vehicle that gives 100% success rate with 2 other low vehicles, example 1x Portifino 46 Yacht and 2x Hardtop DB9's, This gives 100% success rate and a SMALL chance at owning a Concept vehicle for level 7 of the chart. There is some lag with this highlight, you need to wait a while for the icon to highlight, CS have assured us it will highlight, but if you get impatient like me combineing a 4th vehicle will make the highlight immediate.

Icon 4 (Best Wishes, Throwing 200 coins into the wishing pool)
This will only count coins thrown AFTER highlighting level 4 of the Wishing Tree. Go to the Wishing Pool and throw 200 coins, note you can throw them 1 y 1, in sets of 10, sets of 50 or 200 at once, my personal preferance is throwing 10 or 50 per time so if you do by chance get 99 free coins you save yourself some gold. This will highlight immediately after a total of 200 coins are thrown.

AFTER you have all 4 icons lit click the "highlight" button next to the level 5 and it will allow you to recieve the REWARDS ( 1 Senses Yacht,1 Loyal Employee Card (Orange)10 Store Upgrade Coupons,20 Precious Gems). You can also Recieve a BONUS of 2000 Gold (not gratis gold). Then you can get to work on level 6. Note if you choose to stay on level 5 for every player that reaches the same level AFTER you, you can recieve 1 Dividend of 100 gold.

LEVEL 6 -

Icon 1 (Buisness Benefactor, Donating 5,000,000 TCN to charity)
This is the total amount MINIMUM you must have donated to charity, it does not need to be a one time payment, it is accumulated, to check how much you have donated go to Charactor - Charity, donate 10,000 TCN and check your total, then donate the required amount to push you over 5,000,000 TCN, then the icon will highlight automatically.

Icon 2 (Fly so High, Owning a Raytheon XP900)
The Raytheon XP900 costs and is available in Gold Ranking competitions and as prizes in the Wishing Pool only. You cannot Buy this item from the Shop, Raytheon XP900 given to you by friends DO COUNT, but be aware you cannot present them back after as you need to click the icon and Accept which binds the plane to you.

Icon 3 (Piety, Gaining 1 Wishing Medal from Wishing Pool)
This means you can use any wishing medal presented to you by others, only wishing medals found in the wishing pool from you throwing coins will count aswell as the ones won from rank 1 of the contest AND presented ones. After you have one the medal binds and cannot be presented to others, be aware the odds of finding the medal are very low currently but will probably increase towards the end of the event.

Icon 4 (Billionaire, The title Billionaire is useable)
This means you need your wealth as 100,000,000 TCN or more, you do not need to use the title. If you do not have this yet a friend count take you on a Tour or buy some goods/materials/scrolls from you in Trade center. This is pretty impossible for the new servers unless you buy a LOT of gold to throw into the wishing pool.Obviously Friends can help by buying goods etc from Trade Center and taking you on tours but brand new servers probably have to wait until the end of the event to have this much TCN, the icon Will highlight once achieved automatically.

AFTER you have all 4 icons lit click the "highlight" button next to the level 6 and it will allow you to recieve the REWARDS ( 1 Bentley Arnage RL, 2 Loyal Employee Cards (Orange),40 Exquisite Gems,1 Liberty Medal). You can also Recieve a BONUS of 5000 Gold (not gratis gold). Then you can get to work on level 7. Note if you choose to stay on level 6 for every player that reaches the same level AFTER you, you can recieve 1 Dividend of 250 gold.

LEVEL 7 -

Icon 1 (Mr. Gold Liberty, Owning 1 Gold Liberty Medal)
You can combine 8 50% medals into 4 bronze liberty, then the 4 bronze liberty into 2 silver liberty, then the 2 silver liberty into 1 gold liberty. Please note this will use over 130 combination scrolls to guarantee 100% success on all the medals or you are taking a big risk without using them. Gold Liberty Medals that are presented to you by others WILL count, but once used by you will Bind and be unpresentable. Once you have one click on the icon and click "accept" this will bind the medal and highlight the icon.

Icon 2 (Real Tycoon, Owning 3 custom concept vehicles)
A custom concept vehicle = a vehicle worth over 89,999 Gold, that is made in bell's labs. Custom = one you are given the choice to name, Concept = over 75% 50% with 1 bonus % stats, PLEASE NOTE NOT ALL CUSTOM CONCEPT VEHICLES COUNT, only ones with the bonus % of OVER 15% will count, even though your car is a custom concept if it does not have 1 bonus of 15%+ then it WILL NOT COUNT. Vehicles Presented WILL COUNT but are bound once used so cannot be returned. You must own 3 of these vehicles and bind them to highlight the icon.

Icon 3 (Dine with Buffett, Dining with Buffett ONCE)
Go to City - Celebrety Club and pay 3,999 Gold to Dine, once completed the icon will highlight.

Icon 4 (Mysterious Culture, OWning 4 different masks)
Masks can be won in Wishing Pool right now ONLY, the last two weeks allowed prizes containing masks to be won also, you need to OWN 4 masks, they are not presentable, previously found masks WILL COUNT. "different" means 2 masks of the same type example 2x sri lanken crowns only count as 1 mask. You need 4 different ones to highlight this icon.

If by some Miracle you managed to complete level 7 GREAT NEWS you can recieve the REWARDS (1 Jobs Private Jet, 1 Store Expert Card (Intermediate),3 Loyal Employee Cards (Orange), 150 Exquisite Gems,12 Attire Cards) AND the BONUS of 10,000 Gold (not gratis gold) All you need to do is click "Highlight", i would like to suggest you do not click highlight until the last day or until at least 1 other player has highlighted level 6, to maximise your dividend rewards. Note for every player that reaches the same level AFTER you, you can recieve 1 Dividend of 500 gold.

Allowances Cannot be recieved until between september 24th 2010 and October 24th 2010 between 12:00 a.m. -- 11:59 a.m. You will be able to recieve the allowance for the highest level you reached during the event.

1st    Certain amount of TCN, 1 Sponsorship Voucher, 1 Character Attribute Point, 1 Store Upgrade Point, 6% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card
2nd    Certain amount of TCN, 2 Sponsorship Vouchers, 2 Character Attribute Points, 2 Store Upgrade Points, 10% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card
3rd    Certain amount of TCN, 3 Sponsorship Vouchers, 3 Character Attribute Points, 3 Store Upgrade Points, 4% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card
4th    Certain amount of TCN, 4 Sponsorship Vouchers, 1 Brick, 4 Character Attribute Points, 4 Store Upgrade Points, 5% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card
5th    Certain amount of TCN, 5 Sponsorship Vouchers, 2 Bricks, 5 Character Attribute Points, 5 Store Upgrade Points, 6% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card (Red)
6th    Certain amount of TCN, 6 Sponsorship Vouchers, 3 Bricks, 6 Character Attribute Points, 6 Store Upgrade Points, 7% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card (Red)
7th    Certain amount of TCN, 8 Sponsorship Vouchers, 5 Bricks, 7 Character Attribute Points, 7 Store Upgrade Points, 6% chance of gaining 1 Loyal Employee Card (Orange)

I wish you all good luck, as we dont recieve allowances until after i URGE you not to rush as i have a sneaky suspicion items like the wishing medal will be easier to obtain before the end looking as CS's replies.

The way i see the wishing tree is:

its designed so free players can get to lvl 3 and recieve 90 sups over the 30days of allowance, then the gold buyers (medium) will spend 3000 gold to get 3000-3500 rewards for lvl 4 and 5, and the big gold buyers try their luck with the medal which 9 times out of 10 they spend more than they gain.

but it depends how much u value sups, if its a lot look at it like this

lvl 3 is achievable by everybody
lvl 4 costs 900 gold (profit 100 + dividends)
lvl 5 costs 2000 gold (profit = dividends)
lvl 6 costs 0-50000+ (profit depends on luck, upto 5000)
lvl 7 costs 3999 gold (profit 6001)

those are minimums, but then you have to take into account the rewards AND sups you get from allowance

after the event if you only completed lvl 1 that = 30 sups
if you completed lvl 2 that = 60 sups
lvl 3 = 90 sups
lvl 4 = 120 sups
lvl 5 = 150 sups
lvl 6 = 180 sups
lvl 7 = 210 sups

so its all about how much u value sups
