Part 2.1 of: An essential guide on upgrading a company and stores

Part 2: Upgrading one store at a time, or multiple stores

For this part, the calculations based on the number of stores to be upgraded for next company level, and absolute basic revs. (for full statistics on company upgrade lvls, check part 3)
First off, a few abbreviations used in the calculations (using the abbreviations would make it a lot easier and faster to write, and those mathemathicians among us will understand):
B = Basic Store Revenue (B1 being store upgrade lvl 1, B2 Store upgrade lvl 2, etc.)
S = SUPs
S* = Total SUPs to get a store from terrible to perfect.
Sg* = Total SUPs to get a store from terrible to good.
Sp* = Total SUPs to get a store from good to perfect.
A = Amount of Stores to be upgraded after and including the current one
A* = the sum of all stores, meaning you add each consecutive store’s number to the previous. (1 + 2 + 3 = 6 for 3 stores)
Amax = The number of the final store to be upgraded (when you need to upgrade 3 stores, this will be 3)
B# = Basic Revenue of an upgrade level. (the # is to clarify which upgrade I mean, where 1 stands for terrible, and 8 for perfect, 9 for superlative, but I won’t deal with that here.)
S# = Store number to be upgraded. (the # is to clarify which store is being upgraded).
H = hours needed to gain 1 SUP.

The following fact is used in the calculations:
You need the amount of SUPs of the *next* upgrade, before you can actually upgrade.
The following fact is NOT used in the calculations:
The time needed to upgrade one store to the next store upgrade level. (I may add this on a later date, provided I receive the necessary data for each store level and store upgrade level.)

In order to properly calculate what multiple stores earn on basic revenue while focusing on one store at a time, it is easiest to take the revenue of the upgrade, multiply that by the amount of hours in which each SUP is earned, multiplied by the amount of SUPs needed for the upgrade to the next store level, multiplied by the amount of stores to be upgraded until company upgrade, add each upgrade level seperately using the previously explained formula, and finally, add the amount that
the final upgrade will spend running until the next company upgrade multiplied by the added number of stores minus the last of the stores (A* - Amax -) for four stores this would be 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 – 4 = 7, for 5 stores, 1 + … + ... + 5 – 5 = 10)

Formula (“…” means the same part of the formula as indicated before the “…” except that B# changes to a higher # every subsequent upgrade in logical order):
B1 x H x S* x (A* - Amax) + B1 x H x S x A + … + … + B7 x H x S x A + B8 x H x S* x (A* - Amax)

In case of upgrading multiple stores to the same level, the equasion becomes different. You’ll have to multiply each store upgrade by an amount equal to the sum of stores to be upgraded (this means adding together the number (#) of stores). So if 4 stores need to be upgraded, it’s 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10.
For the final upgrade, the equasion differs slightly from the rest of the upgrades: the “S”, SUPs needed for next store upgrade level will be substituted for “SB7”, the SUPs needed for perfect store upgrade level.

Formula:
B1 x H x S x A* + … + … + B7 x H x A* + B8 x H x SB7 x (A* - Amax)

As a suggestion by McCullough, I’m also adding the option of upgrading to good lvl (extra emp, which will generate an extra income bonus, but as a variable, not further included in this guide, aside from making logical deductions for your own benefit.
This one is by far the hardest, but I’ll try to explain.
The largest issue here is that by splitting the “one at a time upgrade” in two, in essence adding an extra variable for total SUPs remaining until the last upgrade in the series is done. In other words, one takes the “One at a time formula” and basically split it in two, making 2 new formulas for terrible to good and good to perfect.

Formula:
B1 x H x Sg* x (A* – Amax ) + B1 x H x S x A + … + … + B5 x H x Sg* x (A* - Amax) + B5 x Sp* x (A* - Amax) + B5 x H x S x A + … + B7 x H x S x A + B8 x Sp* x (A* – Amax)

In this full formula, the following part may be simplified:
B5 x H x S* x (A* - Amax) + B5 x S* x (A* - Amax) + B5 x H x S x A
To:
B5 x H x S* x (A* - Amax) + B5 x H x S x A
To:
B5 x H x S* x A x A

Do note that in the examples, I will not write everything out, as that will take forever, but I will add several lines if necessary for further comprehension.
Also, I will not take into account the other perfect stores needed for company upgrades, as they will be the same for every formula, thus completely negating each other. I will explain in part 4 why.

Shab,
Please post as a new thread and don't bring up dead ones.  I also don't understand what you are asking.  What coupon for further upgrade?

Are you asking about Store Upgrade Cupons?
