[All servers] The Partnership Guide

I will be providing a complete list of what you need to do to become a successful partner and the reasons for doing so.



Step 1, The very first steps) The first thing  you will need to be on your way to having a partnership will be to get business cards.(the more you have the greater your options) Now you might be asking yourself is.

A) What are business cards? Business cards are used to associate yourself with other players of BTO and create a friendship among players.

B) How can i get business cards? There are two ways to get business cards.

1) Click on a persons name, this may be done from the chat room, the bulletin board, the leadership board, guild list, etc.. so pretty much anyplace you see a players name you may click it and click on the Exchange Business  Card button.

2) Someone may send you a business card, now to accept it you will want to click on the Secty button and then go to the notifications tab. Next you will click on the top right tab, which says All(located above the delete button) and then choose the Request option. After that all you have to do is simply click on a message and hit accept.(rinse and repeat until all requests have been accepted)



Step 2, Interaction) As you acquire business cards you will have the ability to interact with each individual a total of 3 times per day(6 times total if they interact with you as well) now there are too ways to interact with each person, you may interact individually(not recommended, and i will not explain this part) or mass interaction(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

1) What is the point of interaction? The point of interacting with someone is to increase friendship points?

A) What are friendship points? Friendship points are used to become business partners.

B) How do i gain friendship points? You will gain friendship points by interacting with someone that you have exchanged business cards with.

2)  How do i interact with a person? To interact with a person simply click the Mass Interaction button. Next you will want to choose an interaction.(only choose green interactions) To choose an interaction just click the select drop box located in the top right corner of the interactions page.
At first you will only be able to choose from the first three interactions, but as you gain more friendship points more interactions will become available to you, some offer more friendship points than others, but i will leave it up to you to find which interactions suit you the best.
The best way to interact with alot of people at one time would be to choose 10 people at a time(10 is max) and then select ok, you may do this for every friend in 3 different interaction categories.(do this every day)


Step 3, The road to partnership) Once you have reached 90+ friendship points with any player a new option will be opened up to you, the best way to find out how far you are from reaching 90 points would be to click the friendship button under the Biz Cards tab.(this will sort players from the highest to the lowest in friendship point value)

1) What do i do once i reach 90 points? Once you have acquired 90 friendship points with any given person then you may apply to become business partners with said person,(as long as they are NOT in the same industry as you) to do this click the cooperate button next to said persons name, then click the apply button, the person will then have the option to accept or deny your propitiation to become business partners, OR if someone has already asked you to be a business partner you can go to your requests page and accept them there.

2) What are the benefits of having a business partner? The benefits are very rewarding for all the hard work you put in to acquire 90+ friendship points with any given person, you may receive increased revenue per shop, increased production rate, or increased supply rate, or a combination of the two depending on which business partner(s) you choose?

3) How many business partners can i have? Well at first you can only have 10 business partners(assuming you have a private corporation) and be able to increase the number of business partners you can have by increasing your corporation size. With each increase in company size you will gain 2 extra business partner slots.

is there a way to cancel a partnership let say i have maxed out 10 partnership all of them are 1%production and 1% revenue, then 1 friend went up to 90 friendship points and offers a 2% revenue increase, is there a way to exchange 1 of the previous partner for the one that offers 2% revenue?

To cease a partnership simply click "Business" -> "Company Info" -> "Partners" , and there you have the option to cease cooperation with any of your partners.

For people that use mass interaction, this is a quick reference table of the friendship and action available.

5~9 : Handshake and below
10~19: Shopping and below
20~21: Going Fishing and below
31~40: Massage and below
So far I only have 30s friendship partner, when I have more, I will update it here.

Also, if you are too far of lower class you will not be able to initiate exchanging business cards with someone of higher class.  So if you are very new you will need to get others to send you their card first.
